Ready-mix concrete is a term for concrete that is ready for use without the need for on-site processing. The use Ready-mix can expedite construction work while saving time and maintaining the quality of the concrete. 

Ready-mix concrete itself is divided into structural and non-structural concrete. Structural concrete is a type of concrete that contains reinforcement elements in its mix. This article will discuss various grades of structural Ready-mix concrete.

Types of Structural Ready-Mix Concrete Grades

The following are some of the concrete grades Commonly used structural Ready-mix:

1. Grade K 225 Concrete

Grade K 225 concrete is a type of concrete suitable for the construction of building structures with medium (moderate) loads. This concrete grade is commonly used for making concrete panel fences.

2. Grade K 250 Concrete

Grade K 250 concrete is used for structural building construction with low to moderate load capacities. The materials used are relatively standard or common. However, its use is recommended under the supervision of professional experts. 

This concrete grade is typically concrete is typically used for barriers, street lighting foundations, box culverts, retaining walls, and similar structures. 

3. Grade K 350 Class B Concrete

Grade K 350 concrete is used for structural building work that requires concrete with medium to high load capacities. Its use should be under the supervision of professional experts.

This concrete grade is commonly used for structures with medium to high concrete load capacities, such as  Slab, Pile Cap, Pier Head, Back Wall, Diafragma, Kolom Bangunan Ruko, Rukan, Gedung Bertingkat, Plat Lantai Atas, Balok, Sloof dengan beban berat, Saluran U Ditch, dan Box Culvert.

4. Grade K 350 Class B2 Concrete

Similar to grade B concrete, this type has medium to high concrete load capacities with work ability for easy application 

This concrete grade is commonly used as the foundation Bore Pile with slump which is lower (18 - 2 cm) to facilitate work ability atau proses penuangan dalam metode pengecoran Bore Pile.

5. Grade K 400 Concrete

This type of concrete is used for structural work in road construction with arigidIts application usually involves the use of a paver. The advantage is its ability to withstand large loads on road structures, making them more durable than asphalt. 

Grade K 400 concrete is used for concrete of rigid pavement or rigid manual on the roads structures with high load capacity requirements. 

6. Grade K 500 Concrete

Grade K 500 concrete is a high-grade concrete used for more complex structural building work. Its execution follows the guidance of specialized experts and requires the use of complete equipment and special concrete laboratories for continuous concrete quality control.

Grade K 500 concrete is used for structures with high load forces or structures requiring accelerated concrete, such as Box Girders, Sosrobahu Columns, and Cantilever Structures.
